Kelly Wilson grew up in the real estate business. He became licensed in 2000, when he joined the family business, with his parents Wayne & Jean Wilson at United Country Wilson Realty in Elk City, Ok. His family has been selling Oklahoma property since 1980. Shortly after Kelly joined the family business, in 2000, the Wilson’s became a member of the United Country family to gain greater exposure and marketing for the sellers that they are working with to sell their properties.

In 2004 Kelly met his future wife and business partner, Christy Wilson. In 2006 Kelly & Christy opened their own franchise, United Country Wilson Realty of Ardmore, OK. Kelly and Christy are proud to call Ardmore home, where they enjoy all the outdoor activities that Ardmore has to offer, and where they have found their home church at Crystal Rock Cathedral.

Prior to joining the family business and United Country, Kelly proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, where he was a Veteran of Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm. After leaving the Marine Corps, Kelly then served his home state of Oklahoma in the Oklahoma Army National Guard. Kelly is a graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Kelly grew up in Elk City, Oklahoma where he graduated from Elk City High School, became an Eagle Scout, and attended Grandview Assembly of God Church. As a young man, with an entrepreneurial spirit, Kelly owned and operated his own business, K&K Services. In the early stages of his life, his folks were evangelists with the Assembly of God, where he was cutting his teeth on the back of church pews.

Tim Weyh is a full time realtor with United Country Wilson Realty, and brings with him a diverse background in real estate and Rodeo. Tim is originally from St. Paul, Minnesota where he grew up in the equine industry on a horse ranch.

Tim started his career in the construction industry, where he worked his way up to a construction manager, for one of the largest companies in the world, Wal-Mart. Tim has also worked as a loan officer for a mortgage company.

Tim has always stayed involved with the equine industry throughout his life. Tim has been a member and competitor in both the American Quarter Horse Association and the National Reining Horse Association. Time is currently still a member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, having been a circuit finals qualifier in the bull riding event and now works as a judge.

Tim and his wife Leann, a World Champion Professional Trick Rider, now reside on a horse ranch in the Elmore City, Oklahoma area. In Tim’s spare time he enjoys many outdoor activities, such as hunting, fishing, and riding hoses.

Tim is a full time realtor who applies his previously acquired knowledge, and background every day in helping people find their freedom with their dream property.

Karen began her career in the real estate business in March 2010. From the beginning, she has vowed to show trustworthiness and obligation to her clients. Karen has a strong work ethic and promises to satisfy her clients by any means possible. Her “clients” usually turns into lifelong “friends” even after their dreams of a new property have been met.

Karen started in the cosmetology field in 1983. She has always had a passion for others. Her care and passion showed as she volunteered at numerous nursing homes and handicap facilities over the years. Her bond continues with the family even after some have passed away. Her heart and kindness for others was felt through all.

Karen was born in California. Fortunate to have a stay at home mom, and military dad, her home later became Ardmore, where she has continued to reside. Karen has a son, Scott and daughter, Sharla along with 4 grandchildren, Kayla, Kerha, Layne and Bronson. She is lucky to have her immediate and extended family reside in Ardmore as well. She enjoys attending her grandchildren’s activities and events and participates as often as possible, along with large holiday gatherings, with her family by her side. She has always showed great devotion to her family and now to her profession in the real estate field.

Recently, with empty house syndrome, Karen has found a new love for miniature horses! Starting out with just two, she now has 6, which she loves dearly. They are all spoiled rotten, often getting special treats, long brushing or an evening stroll.

In a very short period of time in the Real Estate Business, Karen’s passion and “go get ‘em” attitude made her advance to one of the top listing Realtors in the Southern Oklahoma Board of Realtors. Leann grew up on an 1800 acre working ranch in Delisle Saskatewan Canada. Her family specialized in beef cattle and horses. At one time 300 plus cattle and 150 mares all producing offspring.

Leann’s family has always been involved with rodeo and horse events. Leann is a second generation trick rider following in her mother Sandy Short’s footsteps. She started doing a stand in front of Sandy at 18 months and at age 6 she was a full member of the team. Leann is the world’s fastest trick rider and the longest running trick rider at the Calgary Stampede. Leann has travelled from Maine to Alaska and all across Canada with her riding.

In Leann’s repertoire of job titles Leann has run a large Western riding stable in Maryland, worked with the number one farm/antique auction service in Saskatchewan, and was a paralegal in Florida.

Throughout her travel’s she met her husband Tim. They chose the state of Oklahoma to build a life together. In having so much trouble to find a realtor who knew anything about ranch land or who would return a phone call they were able to reach Kelly Wilson at United Country Wilson Realty. The couple was so impressed with the whole process they bought a ranch and went to work for Kelly Wilson at United Country Wilson Realty.

Leann is currently a full time realtor and has been a member of United Country Wilson Realty since 2010. She has applied her background of agriculture to pair buyers and sellers of horse/cattle ranches and rural properties ever since.

Christy comes to United Country with experience in real estate software sales and an extensive marketing and management background. After traveling three states and leading the nation in software sales, Christy was tired of the traveling and stress that comes with the big city of Dallas. In one of her training classes she met Kelly Wilson. She never could have imagined moving to Oklahoma but love makes you do crazy things. Christy followed her heart to Oklahoma after a three year courtship.

Kelly and Christy married and together began a new Real Estate Office in Ardmore, OK in 2005. Christy moving from Dallas and Kelly from Elk City they decided to make Ardmore their home. Ardmore being central located between Dallas and Oklahoma City offered the beauty, lakes, scenic trails, and central location that made it a perfect choice to build a life and business.

Christy has a grown daughter and son-in-law that also relocated from Lewisville, TX and now reside in Marietta, OK. Still waiting on grandchildren, Christy enjoys her four legged grand children.

Being an outdoor enthusiast, Christy’s hobbies include walking and hiking with her dog Jake. Weekends are spent hiking one of the many the trails of Lake Murray. Christy and her husband Kelly have a passion for hiking and are avid campers. They enjoy the many wonderful State Parks in the State of Oklahoma. Lake Murray and Robber’s Cave are just a few of their many favorites. Christy also enjoys gardening and is a member of Weight Watchers.
